I admit, I’ve been sitting in my recliner working this morning feeling a little mopey due to my limitations at this time while waiting for my back to recovery fully to return to my normal activities. Overall, my back is feeling better, which makes it a little more difficult to refrain from my full workouts and riding, until the medicine wears off and the nerve pain begins again. At that point I am reminded why I am taking it easy and must continue to do so until next week, or until I am completely pain free.
Aside from that, I have been working on the future of Fit Found Me, which I think is pretty exciting. I’ve been blogging now for 8 months and love it. I love hearing from you guys and knowing my experiences are helping many of you to feel better.
I have said many times that I am not a personal trainer or nutritionist…but I am thinking about getting certifications in both. The more I learn, the more I want to learn. So, why not get certified, right?
Today’s motto for me is:
Today is the Day!
Today is the day to do it. Whatever “it” is. Maybe today is the day to try that new recipe or try a new workout. Maybe today is the day to give up fried foods. Or maybe today is the day to give up chips or try couscous or make that big decision you’ve been thinking about. Today is the day to do it.
Often we procrastinate things in our life that once we do it, we realize how much better we are for it. There will never be a perfect day to start eating better. It must be a gradual change to turn it into a lifestyle change. Same with working out. Stop waiting for the perfect hour, perfect outfit, perfect workout. Just start. Just do it as Nike says.
Make a decision today because today is the day. Take the step towards the goal you have in mind. Baby steps work…they get you to your destination too.
