I want you to really be so proud of yourself for committing to changing your lifestyle into a more healthier way of living. By now, maybe you have made a couple of changes that are beginning to be a little easier for you. Perhaps you have worked out more than you have all year, just in these last 15 days!
What ever changes and improvements you have done, pat yourself on the back! Change isn’t easy, but these changes will be worth it!

Warning, this is going to be a sappy one because that’s just how I’m feeling today. So grateful for everything and everyone in my life. There have been some awful things happen in my life, things that some people would get discouraged and just give up. Somehow through my faith, loving friends and family, I pulled through day by day. Today, looking back, I am in awe of where I am now.
That’s what I want to share with you today. Where ever you are today, whatever burden you have, when you do your best today to make it through, today turns into yesterday, which turns into a month, a year and so on. It’s about one day at a time and pretty soon you will look back and be in awe at where you are.
If someone would have told me years ago I would be on my way to a blogger’s fitness conference – a Idea World Fitness & Blogfest conference, I certainly would have laughed thought, no way. But here I am…with hundreds of bloggers and fitness professionals from all over the world to learn about the newest trends and how to improve at our jobs.
When I started losing weight, never did I expect to be as fit and young feeling as I do. Looking back, there were some really tough days of cravings, days of not wanting to workout, really hard workouts, etc. Heck, I still have days like that. I push through and do what I can that day. Every day, do your best, whatever that is for that day.
It’s really crazy to think of the differences. Once, I was someone who lived off of junk food – sweets, lots of them, breads – all of the bad carbs. Vegetables were eaten, but prepared in unhealthy ways…are they even really vegetables at that point? Probably not.
Now, I do occasionally crave junk…no lie there. However, if I do eat it, most of the time I feel not so great afterwards. Most of the time, it is fresh, healthy food I crave. The feeling after you eat it isn’t the oppressive full, sluggishness. After eating fresh vegetables and clean proteins, I feel energized and…clean!
Preparation and planning is key to eating healthy and working out. Our lives are too busy not to plan. Grab a healthy snack and a large bottle of water every time you go out the door!
