I have some favorite daily supplements and vitamins I believe in and take every single day for better health. Some for energy, muscle recovery, joint pain, anti-aging and just plain overall good health. I’ve never been so consistent with nutrients and I’ve never felt so good.
My Favorite Daily Supplements – Skin, Hair + Joint Care
Collagen for loose skin and knee pain specifically. I started taking collagen in 2015 after a fitness conference. Did you know your body stops producing collagen around age 40? Collagen has been great for my knee, as well as my skin. Right before taking collagen daily I was starting to wear a knee brace while I worked out for pain. After 4-6 weeks my knee pain went away.
Right now I am using the large, cost savings bag of Great Lakes Gelatin. I typically will mix it in water with a flavor packet. The awesome thing about powdered collagen in your can literally put it into anything!
I have taken 2 different brands and like them both, however, the Vital Proteins does have more flavors and dissolves a little better. I like the unflavored Vital Proteins as well as their chocolate and vanilla proteins with collagen.

My Favorite Daily Supplements – Pre-Workout Drink
Okay, this one isn’t for everyone, but if you are like me and need a little boost of energy to workout, it’s a great product to have on hand. I have tried many different ones and like almost all of them. This is the one we just finished, and the second picture is the one we are currently using. I like both, it just depends what you like and need. The second picture is a low carb. I like to fast in the mornings before my workout and so I wanted something that wouldn’t spike my insulin.
I would not take this if I worked out in the evenings as it does caffeine. There are pre-workout supplements without caffeine. In addition to the pick me up it, it also has vitamins and minerals that help feed your muscles and such while exercising. Also, don’t drink a pre-workout before high intense cardio.
Best overall general health and anti-aging (truly DNA anti-aging) supplement

Best Meal Replacement Shake from My Pantry – GNC Lean Shake
So this protein shake is the original shakes I started drinking to lose weight. It is the best for weight loss because of the amount of fiber in each serving. It’s filling as well as full of the vitamins needed daily. I started with drinking it as many times during the day as needed – usually 2-3 to start. You really can have it for dessert in the evenings – it’s that good. Great for helping to curb the sweet tooth but in a healthy way. I have used it off and on since my first year, but always have some on hand.
