Have you tried Siggi’s Yogurt yet? If you aren’t buying Siggi’s exclusively yet, then I know the answer is no. Once you try it, there’s no going back.
Like many women over 40, I still consider myself new to the fitness world…I am only 2-3 years into regular workouts. Which also means I am only in about 3 years of changing my nutrition from fast food, processed foods to more all natural, healthy foods. It has taken a while to convert and I truly feel so much better eating healthy than I did before. Sounds so cliché but it is so true!
Along that journey, my love of yogurt also evolved. You may be surprised to learn I have only discovered how much I like Greek yogurt about 6 months ago.
Andrew and I started yogurt on a regular basis about a year ago. However, the more I learned about nutrition and weaned myself away from refined sugar, the less yogurt I ate.
As I read more nutrition articles, I read how careful to be when choosing yogurt due to it’s high sugar content.
Enter Greek yogurt into the picture. It is the craze right now. So healthy, so much better than regular yogurt. It took a few bowls to get used to the thickness of it, even though I really liked the taste. Now, the “regular” yogurt tastes too sweet for me.
My Siggi’s Yogurt Choice Over Other Yogurts
My next experience was entering into the fitness blogging circles and seeing the popularity of Siggi’s yogurt. Once I tried it, I immediately knew why it was such a hit. So fresh, clean, heavenly taste like no other yogurt I have previously eaten.
I attended Idea World Fitness BlogFest a few weeks ago and met Siggi himself. He spoke to the 150 fitness bloggers for a few minutes. During that time, he shared the startup story of his yogurt, that actually isn’t a traditional yogurt, not really a true Greek yogurt, but skyr. Read more about Siggi’s skyr is made and how he started in a tiny apartment in NYC.

During BlogFest, Siggi’s sponsored our snack table several times with a mouth watering selection of toppings and skyr choices! We were in skyr heaven!
